CART Summer Event 2021

  • 23 Jun 2021
  • 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Hudson Gardens

Registration is closed

The Colorado Association of Reproductive Technologists (CART) will be having our first in-person meeting since COVID on 6/23/21 at Hudson Gardens! We are inviting all Colorado clinics, including nursing and practice managers to attend.

The main topic of this event will be the upcoming fertility insurance mandate coming to Colorado and how it may affect both our clinical and laboratory operations.

Derek Larkin: CEO of In Vitro Sciences (and former CEO of Boston IVF) - In Vitro Sciences partners with independent fertility practices to provide management services, including “payer alignment”. His valuable insight into optimizing third-party reimbursement will guide us into our contract negotiations. Derek's experience in mandated states will also lend us a forecast of how demand may grow as more patients obtain financial access to care.

Kathy Miller: Vice President of Laboratory Solutions for MedTech For Solutions and the Scientific/Embryology Director for multiple high-performing IVF programs -Kathy will be providing her experience with high-efficiency programs to identify staff and equipment capacity limits, along with important areas for improvement to prepare our clinics for the anticipated influx of patients.

Kelly Ketterson: Vice President of Medical Affairs for Cooper Surgical - Kelly is a trained embryologist with a Master's degree from EVMS who has since excelled in leadership roles including COO at Reprogenetics and Executive Director at Tyho-Galileo Research Laboratories. She has also directed several educational conferences specializing in the continuing education of reproductive endocrinologists, IVF nurses, embryologists, andrologists and administrative staff.

For Clinical Staff/Non-members:

Please sign up for the free clinical membership in the Join us section of the website if you are planning on attending the event. This option is for Doctors, Nurses, etc who are planning on attending. Once the membership has been approved you will be able to register.

We expect this to be a very fun and informative night.  It will be wonderful to see all the familiar faces once again, and to finally meet the new fertility professionals which have entered our beautiful state since our last event!

Drinks and Dinner will be provided.

We hope to see you there!!
